Moving with the Moon offers an empowering and relaxing atmosphere. The Moon Salutation (Chandra Namaskar) is a centering, flowing practice and incredibly releasing for both the body and mind. It provides a cooling, creative energy within the body, honouring lunar vitality.
This session provides an experience and understanding of Chandra Namaskar and an opportunity to explore the moon’s cycles, observing synchronicity elsewhere in nature, looking into how these phases can affect not only our mood, but energy and exploring tools to manage these times using movement and meditation.
A visual and accessible sequence to take home is provided. In addition to informative handouts, including moon charts and relevant reading lists (if of interest). Join in and begin to learn to Move with the Moon. This workshop will wrap up with soothing restorative postures and a guided meditation to leave you feeling truly relaxed, re-balanced and ready to enjoy your weekend.
