Wellbeing Taster (1 hour)

Want to put something on for your team but not sure where to start or what your company would benefit best from?

Bee Leaf Yoga offers wellbeing taster sessions which consists of a fifteen-minute consultation and forty-five-minute taster and can create bespoke session(s) to fit the requirements and dynamic of the group.

Classes (1 hour)

Hatha Flow

Hatha Flow is a steadily paced and pleasantly challenging class. Suitable for all levels. Hatha Flow is designed to strengthen and stretch the body whilst calming the mind. Time is taken transitioning and experiencing each pose. The session completes with a peaceful savasana and guided meditation.

Vinyasa Flow

This style builds heat and cardiovascular strength and is designed to make you break a sweat. Perfect for those looking for a more vigorous practice. This class can be made accessible for all levels although likely will be enjoyed more by those with an established practice due to the faster pace. This session also closes with a cooling savasana and soothing guided meditation.

Restorative Yoga

This relaxing session will take you on a journey into yourself, releasing tension with some gentle asana practice in the soothing restorative style, combined with a guided meditation to close the practice making you feel re-energized and re-invigorated.

Mindfulness & Meditation

Peaceful and accessible sessions that focus on establishing or developing a relaxing home meditation and pranayama (yogic breathing) practice.

Workshops (2 hours)

Restorative Yoga & Neuroplasticity

Reset breath, mind and body. This informative and incredibly recuperative 120-minute session releases and unwinds tired muscles and is designed to provide a nourishing boost both physically and mentally. Perfect before or after a busy or stressful time, physical exertion or mental fatigue and for those who simply need to take some time to give back to themselves with relaxation and self-care.

Sleep Well Workshop

Blissfully relaxing and practically informative, this workshop is suitable for those that are experiencing sleep deprivation due to stress. More and more evidence is linking sleep quality to every aspect of our being, from mood and focus to health and healing. For most, the better we sleep, the better we feel.

Take a deeper look into research around sleep and sleep quality and learn tools and techniques to improve yours. Enjoy breath work, an extended yoga session and a sequence to take home - all designed to assist with unwinding and sleeping better.

Enjoy this sensory experience and explore teas and calming scents. Leave feeling restful, relaxed and most definitely ready for bed.

Moving with The Moon

The moon salutation is great evening practice at all times and especially around the time of a new moon and full moon – Chandra namaskar is cooling and releasing (and depending on weather outside in the open air is wonderful under the moon and stars).

There are many variations of the sequence. Originally designed by women –however men can practice and enjoy this sequence also! It focuses on the more Yin/Ida energy (which everyone has irrespective of gender).

New moon Chandra namaskar focuses more on intention setting and more introspective (due to the lunar time generally being that of lower energy). Full moon Chandra namaskar focuses more on release and flow and is a slightly faster and corresponding with the higher energy lunar phase.

Mudras & Meditation

Enjoy an extended Hatha Yoga, Mudras and Meditation session!
This interactive workshop is open to all levels and designed to cultivate and develop a home practice. Mudras and Meditation can have an incredibly powerful effect on the body and mind when applied with intention and in a mindful way.

Mudras are hand (and body) gestures in yoga. We use them so regularly throughout our physical (asana), pranayama (yogic breathing) and meditation sessions that often we don’t appreciate that we are using them or why. We feel the mudras and meditation as an integral part of the experience.

Discover the context, history and meaning behind mudras. This workshops identifies these diverse gestures and provides and understanding of the mudras to appreciate when and how we are using them and how to implement them into our practice for increased connection to the body, deeper relaxation, focus and intention.
